The US Government announced 2 years ago that US citizens would soon need passports to travel to Canada or Mexico. Passports haven't been needed before when going to Canada. I've been to Canada dozens of times and never needed a passport. However, as a part of Homeland Security, in hopes of preventing terrorists entering our country from Canada, a new policy of requiring passports for identification was adopted. The government had 2 full years to prepare for us to apply for passports, plenty of time to hire and train workers, plenty of time to hire contractors to do the work. Did they do it? Are you delusional? Millions of passports have not been processed. What is the name of Dr. Rice's Lesbian lover? Are they married or in a Civil Union? I hadn't heard anything about Rice's female lover. Has that lover appeared with Rice at govt. functions? Also, visit any major University, especially a dept. of Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Sci. etc. You will find the majority of faculty + the Dept. Chair, are usually males.

The most successful and productive, not to mention the departments that bring in the most revenue to Universities are Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science and Research Biology.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) - The boyfriend of a missing pregnant woman was arrested on two counts of murder Saturday, and a body believed to be hers was found a week after she vanished from her home, authorities said.
Jessie Davis, 26, was due to deliver a baby girl on July 3. Her mother found Davis' 2-year-old son alone in her home, where bedroom furniture was toppled and bleach spilled on the floor on June 15.
The boy gave investigators their first clues. "Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in rug," the boy said.
Thousands of volunteers had searched for Davis over several days, while investigators continued to question Bobby Cutts Jr., 30, a Canton police officer, who is the father of Davis' son. Her family says he also is the father of the unborn child.
Investigators were mum on many details of their work until they announced Cutts was taken into custody Saturday and was to be arraigned on charges of murder in the deaths of Davis and her unborn child.
The Stark County Sheriff's Department also said a woman's body was recovered in Summit County at 3:30 p.m. Authorities did not give a location but said they believed it to be Davis.
"Our hearts go out to the family of Jessie Marie Davis," Chief Deputy Rick Perez said at a news conference announcing the developments.

LONDON (AFP) - A two-year-old girl with an intelligence quotient of 152 has become the youngest current member of British Mensa, the international society for highly-intelligent people, it said Friday.
Georgia Brown, aged two years and 10 months, was welcomed into the exclusive club after an assessment by a child psychologist, who was said to be "elated" as the findings were what would be expected for a five or six-year-old.
But the little girl, from Aldershot, in southern England, is still not the youngest member ever to join British Mensa. She missed out by six days to Ben Woods, who joined in the 1990s.
The previous youngest current member was a three-year-old boy with an IQ of 137, who joined in 2005.
Mensa normally only tests people over the age of 10 and a half but accepts younger children who are found to be within the top two percent of the population.
The girl's mother, Lucy, was quoted by the BBC News website as saying that she called in the child psychologist to test her daughter's IQ after spotting that she was a quick developer.
"It's fantastic. We're so proud as a family," she said.
Mensa, which is Latin for table, seeks to identify and foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity, according to its website.
It also seeks to provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment for its members as well as to encourage research into the nature, characteristics, and uses of intelligence.

How much does a university make off research and development?
Recently a patent was sold to Abbott Labs from the University of Illinois for the sum of $11 million. Intellectual property rights prevent the authors of the patents from taking in a majority of this money. Most of it goes directly to the university.
Also large chunks of money from grants and fellowships also go to the university. The university has its hands in everyone's pockets that has a grant. With thousands of faculty at major institutions, alot of intellectual property, you could clearly see that not having a sports program wouldn't even phase the university.
In fact student activity fees are usually used at most Universities to help keep the Department of Intercollegiate athletics running. In other words without University support the sports programs would be bankrupt.
You're not that smart anon, maybe you should do a little reading, research and attend a university to find out what it is really like before you spew out lies.

Glad you mentioned MENSA. Bob has been a member of MENSA for many years. MENSA has significantly more men members than female members because there is a lower percentage of females in the higher intelligence range.
Admitting a 2 year old is a stupid publicity stunt. Its a wonder if an accurate IQ measurement could be done on someone that age. Neither does a 2 year old have any reason to be a member and isn't going to participate in any of the meetings.

Thank you bob, I was going to say the same. I don't measure the worth of any individual based on their intelligence. I have seen far too many smart people be total fuck ups in life. In fact many scientists are more concerned with improving their CVs with publications than helping science progress forward.
Alot of professors are also feminists, I however do not fall into this crowd. And for that my colleagues respect both my work and my opinions.

I have met many women from around the world in my work. They are from China, Russia, Finland, UK, Greece, Japan, India, Israel..... These women are bright and educated - at least the ones I've encountered. They come here on Visas, complete PhD fellowships, set up careers as doctors, professors, etc. Most are happily married. They don't appear timid.
I have also met Muslim women from the Arab world. They are used to male dominance, even irrational violence. But even they understand and appreciate the concept of legal rights.
The most subjugated women on the planet are likely those from the poorest parts of the world: war torn Sudan, Nigeria, Afghanistan. Many such women are illiterate and treated as chattel. They don't live long and probably welcome death.
Anonymous is correct: almost all women in the world are pro-women's rights, pro-power for themselves, pro-govt control of men, and anti-men's rights.
This is why any woman or girl who voices pro-feminist/women's rights sentiment must be killed or removed from society if men wish to continue to have good women.
