I would have seriously prefered McCain to win rather than Obama. I voted for Bob Barr, but I did get others to vote McCain (as they wished to vote for a mainstream candidate).
In the primary I voted for Ron Paul.
I've never felt this unhappy with an ellection (I didn't even vote for McCain yet I feel sad he lost). It feels as if ... well the repubs held a few things back the last 8 year... now the floodgates are open. Back to the 90s, maybe 70s.
The only thing that can really fix america, however, is a coup that gets rid of the 19th ammendment and restores the 2nd and 1st ammendments.

We noted that Hussein Obama rushed his wife off of HIS stage. In the US, victorious candidates always have their wife and kids sharing the moment, but not Hussein Obama. His victory speech was more reminiscent to those of Castro, Hitler, or Stalin.

Have you ever heard of Echelon? "Our" government was doing that over 20 years ago. The capabilities by now must be orders of magnitude higher. Much like with aircraft, nothing like this is ever publicly admitted to, until after it's become obsolete.
I assure you all, nothing you've ever sent over the internet was private. And in all likelihood, every word of it still exists on the servers of both the government, AND Google. The only thing lacking has been the ability to sort and cross-reference it. If they still lack that ability today, it's only a matter of time.

The FBI and CIA have both been recording ALL Internet traffic for a while, and scanning it all for key words that may be associated with international terrorism or for whatever reason they choose. They may also be monitoring all satellite traffic of phones and etc.
If you really want to say something in private, go see them in person, turn the background noise way up, and whisper in their ear. Otherwise, Big Brother is probably listening.

I have heard of Echelon but like you said that was years ago. I heard there were attempts to sabotague Echelon by overloading it and that was to send emails with North Korea or other key words in it that Echelon would pick up on. Britain can go further with this considering they have no written constitution on how far the government can go and what it can do.
