In a nation that once was a free country, armed gangs of thugs backed by military force are exercising their authority, pompous jerks in blue.
Note also that it is a criminal violation of the US Constitution for the National Guard to stop people from returning to their homes unless there is a declaration of "Marshal Law" which has not happened in Iowa.
The people of Iowa, like all the other men of America, must begin to recapture our nation from the police state gangs and Gestapo “authorities.”

If the caption is to believed, this officer is "warning" a civilian with his finger in the trigger well.
That's BAD juju.
With the officer as the only context, I'm not sure who's on the recieving end, but the other officer doesn't seem to think that they're that much of a threat.

I read a newspaper article about the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. A man who had refused to leave his home said that the police came to his house and punched him in the face when he wouldn't change his mind. Then there's the man who asked some officers a question about the curfew and straight after they assaulted him. America looks just as oppressive as China and Zimbabwe.

I saw the photo of the trooper aiming a gun at an American citizen,who was only trying to get back to his home, and was shocked to say the least.
Where is the understanding and the compassion from the authorities? These people have lost their homes and are stressed beyond anything I can imagine. It is madness to see a trooper to pull his gun with the intent to shoot, and another trooper with his steel baton out and ready to use.
There should be proper procedure for closing roads, but denying the right of people to visit their property - however dangerous it may be, Especially at Gunpoint, is tantamount to theft and a violation of the 4th Amendment.
When it's against the law to go into a neighborhood, only Outlaws will go into that neighborhood.
And are the police taking it upon themselves to enter these residences to secure them?
This whole thing stinks of Nanny State tom-foolery, maybe to keep press away from the true scale of this catastrophe. After all, they have to figure out how to spin this 5000-year flood and devastation of private property to not give climate change another piece of evidence.
When I came back to Mexico in March, I called my son on the East Coast, and told him it's pretty bad when entering Mexico means relief because you are no longer afraid of the cops. It's really bad to say that, and have it be true, when you enter Mexico via Reynosa, which is a war zone recently.
But, it's true. Most Mexico cops want twenty dollars. In the US, the swine want to steal your car.
Look at those pictures, and note the green grass and dry streets.
Our chance to use our Second Amendment rights to protect and uphold the Consitution was lost back in 1993, when it was apparent we were already a police state. Now it's too late.

The cops are just protecting the citizen by threatening them with their guns.
The blue gun thugs are parading for cameras and using the time to rob citizens' homes of anything of value they can find.
After Hurricane Katrina the NO blue gun thugs robbed the Cadillac dealer, stole everyone's guns, and took anything else they could find after running all the people out of town. Looks like the Iowa blue gun thugs are cut from the same mold. They all are.
Now, to be honest, it is the "Brown" shirts that seem to be the most keyed up in these pictures (I hadn't seen the second, 4 officer in frame, picture previously).
It's been my experience that brown uniforms tend to be local/sheriff officers, whilst blue tended to be state troopers. I may be wrong, but the level of professionalism is inversely proportionate to distance from the state house.
Nonetheless, even in the second picture, the two brownies are exceptionally focused on the occupant of the vehicle. The tension in the near frame officer's arm; holding the speed baton is obvious. The blue shirt appears to be "assessing the situation" and doesn't seem overly tweeked (as one would expect when someone has cleared leather).
I find it interesting that the (I assume) reservist/national guard in the background is either unaware or unconcerned by the threat level. He seems almost blase.
Anyway. I still think that there needs to be a full explanation as to why an individual who, for all intents and purposes, appears only to want to return to their home, is being confronted in such a manner.
Did the driver of the vehicle attempt to barge past the checkpoint? I could certainly see this type of response if the driver advanced their vehicle in an aggressive manner. We just can't tell from the few photos.
I also find it somewhat hard to accept the supposition that law enforcement is using the roadblocks to allow them time to loot homes. There might be a grain of truth to the "we don't want the media to see how bad it really is" statement, but blame for that would lay squarely on the shoulders of state and local authorities at this time (as was the case in NOLA as well).
Too bad noone believes in the afterlife anymore. If men did they would be willing to fight, kill, and potentially die to destroy their enemies and those who would be their masters. But men don't. Now we know why religion was destroyed: it gives courage.
I hope that cop and all his buddies meet revenge for their controlling nature against their fellow man. Cops should not exist.

This article is from the Cedar Rapids Gazette. It is stated the guy with the gun is a state trooper, and it does look like the Iowa state trooper uniform, though Linn County deputies might wear something similar.
I am glad this happened. A person has to be a fool not to see this picture and realize the Constitution is dead.
Be sure to read the comments from the local Good German fools who do not understand the Constitution as superior to orders of the local police force.

A Man (Black) assaults a woman police officer who was trying to arrest (kidnap) him. A quick punch to the face brings her down followed by a few more punches to knock her out for awhile.
He is now serving 60 years for assaulting a female police officer. For rebelling against the concept that a woman shall rule over him, for desiring to retain freedom, for not obeying an armed female employed by the state, a man is meeted out with the destruction of his life.
While he is knocking out the threat to his life and freedom his daughter is whining "Daddy!" as if him trying to keep his freedom and be able to raise his daughter is a negative thing.

He is now in jail for 60 years for punching a woman cop in the face a few times. He tried to protect his family from being broken up and his daughter becoming yet another statistic (an uncontrolable whore from a single-mother or foster family). His hopes are, ofcourse, dashed as he was found and imprisoned.

California Cracks Down On Genetic Testing
"California's Department of Public Health has sent cease-and-desist notices to 13 companies that market genetic testing directly to consumers. (We discussed these services when they launched.) Allegedly, under state law, California residents must submit a doctor's order to have a genetic test run. It will be interesting to see if the government will actually succeed in putting the genetic genie back in the bottle, given that all you need for testing is a few drops of saliva. The man follows the woman now. When she changes job it is he who must quit his job and follow her. His life is merely a supplement to hers. His wife can (and many do) have him evicted from his own house at her whim . His female coworkers may have him arrested, written up, or fired at any time. Men are hates in America and the west. Men are slaves to women in America and the west. Men act accordingly: their life can be destroyed by any woman at anytime so they must appease all women all the time to survive.
Why do men not fight this and destroy their enemies (those who believe in, promote, and enforce women's rights)?
It is because men do not believe in the afterlife anylonger and they know that there is no escape in the anti-man police state that is America and the west. If a man were to fight against women's rights in a real (physical) sence he would surely be hunted down and killed or imprisoned forever: he would lose his life. Bob, I am reminded of what happened a few years ago at the South Padre Island, a popular Spring Break destination for sluts.
A barge took down a section of the causeway, the long bridge which connects the island to the mainland.
There were people on the island from far away. Local barge companies said they could pull up to the park north of town, and take aboard cars without leaving so much as a mark after the first high tide, and those people could go home.
Nope, said the Nazi based local government. Anyone who tries to leave except by our approved method will be arrested.
So, they sat there for quite a few days, missing work and spending large amounts of money for housing and food on the island, while the local government came up with an approved method of taking off the cars .
If the men were armed with useful weapons such as RPGs they could have murdered the local athorities with near impunity and left the island.
Let me tell you about Cedar Rapids, and the flooded downtown. The city mothers have decreed the downtown must be the hub of the community. They came up with a property tax scheme which reserves a lot of the taxes from downtown business district. Wouldn't you love if the tax money from your neighborhood were reserved for use in your neighborhood?
A lot of people complained, and were toldd, tough titty, that's the way it's going to be.
Downtown they have meter b*****s running around looking for excuses to give people expensive parking tickets, or tow their cars away. People complain, and they say that's the way it's going to be.
A few years ago, I was in CR visiting, and wanted to buy the Sunday Gazette. I pulled up in front, with no cars parked within blocks. I planned to walk over to the machine; put in my money, and take the paper.
Here came the meter b***h, smirking.
She had every intention of writing me a ticket if I left my car and walked to that machine long enough to pick up the paper.
I concluded I was not going to pay 25 cents to park on an empty street for 3 minutes, and drove out to one of the many small shopping centers where instead of trying to harass me for having a car, they paid someone to watch that my car was safe.
Karma is a real b***h! Those 3900 houses which were flooded, and whose owners were ordered at pain of death not to go home until the town idiots gave it their imprimatur; nihil obstat, are mostly in bad shape.
Most will need expensive repairs, and many will be demolished.
With what money? Most people do not have flood insurance, so the loss is theirs. Most people owe on their houses. With an existing loan, and no house or little house, they couldn't qualify for another loan to fix it. Nor will banks loan much money in a newly recognized flood area. With the loan problems, it's hard enough to get a loan on a good solid house on a hilltop.
No one is going to pay much for the houses, even if they are fixed up, nor be able to borrow the money if they want.
Lots which are opened up because the house was demolished, also aren't going to sell easily. Oh,sure there are always stupid people, but banks are smarter, at least since early this year.
So, of the 370 million dollars worth of land affected, one can expect the appraised value to drop by 50 or 75%, maybe even more.
Maybe a lot more.
The library, which had an estimated 300,000 books is also probably history.
A lot of those big buildings downtown may have some significant value remaining, but ability to borrow will also be affected by both national bank problems, and the newly recognized flood risk.
It couldn't have happened to a better town, sarcasm definitely intended.
I do feel for the home owners. But, that's what they get for living in C.R.
Now, imagine with me a house owner who has to demolish his home, leaving only a lot that has no sale market, plus perhaps an unpaid mortgage. Or, even imagine a person whose house is paid for, and he has to demolish it.
With the way they were treated by the cops, what are the chances they decide not to build again in C.R.? I'd say that will be a deciding factor in the long run once they have time to think it through.

The elderly lady in Louisiana after Katrina had to learn the hard way. The cop knocked her to her kitchen floor in front of a camera crew and stole, er, confiscated her old revolver. She was in her home, prepped in place, and they yanked her out (for what was the thug version of "for her own good").

Update on Cedar Rapids. Hee, hee.
They have announced in their majestic way that houses that have cards of a certain color on the front can be entered for repairs. However, no repairs can be done until the owner receives the usual Mickey Mouse building; electrical; mechanical; and other permits, and apparently the permit people are as slow as ever. The city has said there is a chance some houses will be reinspected and no work permits may be issued. Wonder how long before they have a riot.
Um, the public library will not open for around a year.
Also, they had a city park on the river with a number of boat houses, some worth almost as much as regular houses.
Suddenly, 33 years after the law was changed, Iowa Department of Natural Resources has decided to enforce laws which prohibit boat houses on the Cedar River, I don't understand all the details. that group of boat houses was part of C.R. culture.
So, there are 3900 houses in bad shape or destroyed, and the city is doing everything it can to make it hard for the owners to fix them up.
Maybe it's time for C.R. people to petition to shut down C.R. government and be annexed to Hiawatha. Hee, hee.
