Budget Crimes -- What's Going On

The law says the Congress must pass a budget and appropriations bills for the government before the beginning of each Fiscal Year. FY 2011 began on October 1, 2010. These are usually enacted one department at a time for each department, agency, project, etc. Last year, both houses of Congress were controlled by Democrats, but they failed entirely to adopt a budget for even a single department of the government. Instead they passed a so-called Continuing Resolution to allow the government which continue spending at FY 2010 levels for a few months. A CR fails to address new needs for this year, and continues funding for completed projects such as the 2010 census staff. The Continuing Resolution Expired in March.

Last year in November voters tossed out many Democratic Congressmen and replaced them with conservative Republicans. Many of the newly elected Representatives promised voters that they would cut spending and cut the size of government. Many of the newly elected Representatives are being true to their promises to voters and won't vote for spending as usual. Senate Democrats, led by Hairy Reid, are still blocking FY 2011 funding. The Continuing Resolutions are expiring, and the government will experience a shut down because (both houses of) Congress has not approved any budget.

For those who may be wondering what the hold up is, here is my observations.

Hairy Reid stood on the Senate floor today and spoke to the nation on C-SPAN2. He said that their big objections are tax funding for abortions and funding for the EPA to implement Obama's "Cap and Tax" program.

First, funding for abortion is illegal. Tax funding for abortions was outlawed by Congress almost 20 years ago with President Clinton signing the bill. Many polls show that even among those who support a right to abortions, most oppose making taxpayers pay for them. That is why its been illegal for almost 20 years. Despite being illegal, and despite being opposed by most Americans, the US taxpayers have been paying almost half a billion dollars per year to fund abortion clinics. House passed FY-2011 budget, HR-1, took illegal abortion funding out of the budget. Now Obama and Reid threaten to shut down the government to restore illegal tax funding for abortions.

Reid's second issue is funding for EPA to implement Obama's "Cap and Tax" program. Cap and Tax is a liberal scheme to levy huge taxes on every usage of carbon based fuel, oil, coal, natural gas. It will add at least another dollar per gallon to gasoline. It will add hundreds of dollars to each winter's home heating. It will add hundreds of dollars to your electric bills. It will destroy industry, destroy the economy, and harm every American. It will line the pockets of Obama, Al Gore, and their Chicago Board of Trade cronies, making billions of dollars in profits for them. It was originally based on the fraud of “global warming.” When that scam was revealed, it shifted to “climate change,” and now its for “clean air.” Its a mega scam government corruption searching for a justification.

The Congress considered "Cap and Tax" regulations for the fraud of "global warming" last year when Democrats controlled both houses. The Democratic controlled Congress turned down Obama's get rich scam. So Obama is now trying to have the EPA implement law that Congress rejected. The little dictator refuses to accept “NO” from the people's representatives. In its FY-2011 budget, HR-1, the House removed funding for the EPA to develop and implement this fraudulent program that Congress previously considered and rejected. Now Reid and Obama will shut down the government because it is not funded.

The House budget, HR-1, also cuts $2 billion payment to Obama's golf and vacation buddies at GE to develop a "backup" engine for the F-135 that the Defense Department doesn't want. They won't mention it in public, but cutting funding for Obama's golf buddies (who pay no taxes) is a big problem.

Its time for Reid and Obama to get square with the law, put dictatorship government behind them, and get on with running the government in a responsible manner.

Fraud “science” Fails

A money squandering idiot NASA “global warming” satellite failed today, wasting hundreds of millions of OUR dollars. As anyone with half a brain knows, the whole “global warming” shtick is a fraud and a political lie. Government agencies like NASA use “global warming” as an excuse to rob us taxpayers and waste our money. And if waste is all they do it would be a boon. They intend to use the fraud of “global warming” to increase government control and oppression of the people.

The stated purpose of the failed satellite was to “track CO2 emissions.” The data is intended to be an excuse to force people to comply with a wider range of expanded fascist government controls on our freedom. Yahoo news story

“Greenhouse Gas” is a Fraud!

The left wingnut theory about “greenhouse gasses” has two fundamental lies. First, despite the old myths, greenhouses do not get warm by reflecting heat energy, infrared light (IR). Second, CO2 and other gasses do not reflect IR light.

These facts of physics are not new revelations. Any scientist worth his PhD knows or should know that they are both untrue. The scientific experimentation and research was published in scientific journals a century ago. Here are the facts:

According to the “greenhouse gas” myth, and that commonly misunderstood by generations of gardeners, a greenhouse gets warm by allowing heat energy from the sun (IR) to pass into the greenhouse but reflects some of it back when it tries later to escape. According to the popular myth a greenhouse gets warm as more and more IR is trapped by being reflected by the glass. That’s still a common belief by gardeners, but its wrong. A century ago, in 1909, physicist R.W. Wood disproved the thesis that greenhouses stayed warm by trapping IR. Woods set up test greenhouses using glass which reflects IR, and sheets of rock salt which does not. Woods demonstrated that greenhouses get warm by trapping warm air, not by trapping IR. The popularly believed theory about trapped IR is not how a greenhouse works. Sometimes an actual experiment is better than a century of myth. Wood's experiment was originally published in the Philosophical magazine , 1909, vol 17, p319-320. Advocates of “Global Warming” now sometimes claim that the so-called “greenhouse effect” of the whole world is “different” from an actual greenhouse. There has been no experimental or physical evidence to support that claim, and in fact experimental evidence is all on the other side. There is no “greenhouse effect” that works by reflecting heat energy.

The other lie in the “greenhouse gas” bullshit is that CO2 reflects IR. Once again, that was disproved almost a century ago. This time by no less of a famous scientist than Niels Bohr.

Bohr demonstrated that CO2 gas molecules to not reflect light, including IR wavelengths. When a photon hits an atom the atom may absorb the light particle or allow it to pass through. If a photon is absorbed, an electron will jump to a higher orbit. When all the electrons are at their highest orbit’s the atom will allow all further photons to pass through. Eventually the atom will emit a photon in a random direction and the electron will drop back to its previous state. The emitted photon may be up, down, or sideways, in any direction. Bohr was one of the most respected physicists of the 20th century. This property of molecules of gasses was published in Philosophical Magazine Series 6, Volume 26 July 1913, p. 1-25

The “greenhouse gas” theory that supposedly causes the fraud of “global warming” is total political bullshit. Its based on lies based on lies. Competent physicists have known for a century that greenhouses do not work by reflecting heat and CO2 does not reflect heat. Only in the twisted words of a political liar and the feeble minds of sheeple who blindly follow the left wing political scum can any of it be conceived.

California Bankrupt!

The leftist state of California has gone bankrupt. This week the California government, led by RINO Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, California announced this week that it is unable to pay its bills. State tax refunds due to Californians are being delayed for at least 30 days because the state is broke and can’t pay, according to State Controller John Chiang. Read Yahoo news story. California is also unable to pay its bills to businesses who sell goods to the state. They are giving businesses an "IOU" saying that they will pay later. The definition of "bankruptcy" is having diets that you can't pay. California is bankrupt.

California is not alone. Dozens of other states and the US national government are rushing pell-mell toward bankruptcy. US President Barry Soetoro, a.k.a. Barack Obama, is pushing hard for Congress to enact another trillion dollar pork bill aimed at robbing the people, putting America’s wealth into their pockets before the economy collapses.

Raising Taxes in the Obamanation

The US Government is alrady making plans to raise taxes on gasoline and other motor fuel as the Obamanation gears up to take over and create a massive new socialist staat in America.

When gas prices hit a record high the people responded by finding ways to buy less gas. Bob cancelled his ummer travels and switched to a more fuel efficient vehicle for travel at home. Many Amercians take the bus to work. And combine trips. Overall, in the US and other countries we have cut our collective oil consumption significantly. The drop in demand for oil has resulted in a rollback of inflated oil prices worldwide. The price at our gas pumps is back to less than $2 per gallon. A sane man would say that is good.

But the government is not sane. They demand lower “carbon” consumption on one hand to fight their fictional “global warming.” On their other hand they have gotten used to high tax income from their excessive per-gallon taxes. They have legions of bureaucrats collecting the tax and feeding their bloatd bureaucracy. When we cut back on our consumption it cuts their tax revenue. While sane men are feeling good about lower gas prices from market supply and demand pricing, the government scumbags are whining about their lower tax revenues. The people saving money is the opposite of their goal. They want to break every man in America. That is the coming “change” of the Obamanation.

Congress never wants to be known as advocating higher taxes. In this case the Congress created a Commisson on highway taxes to do the recommendations for new and hither taxes. The Commission is the frontal assault that deflects crtiicism of Congressional Democrats who are demanding higher taxers. No Democrat ever met a tax increass she didn't love.

When you go to the pump to get gas for your car you are already paying 18.4 cents in taxes out of the $1.59 price. If you buy diesel you are paying 24.5 cents per gallon. One of the Commissions is recommeding that taxes be raised by over 30%, adding an additional 10 cents per gallon to gas and 15 or more cents to diesel. In addion to the federal gas taxes the states all add about 20 cents of their own taxes. So out of a pump price of $1.59 you are paying about $1 for the gas and about 59 cents for a fat ass bureaucracy.

But the proposed 10 cents per gallon increases are only the beginning. The National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission has recommended an increase of 40 cents per gallon. That would raise your $1.59 gas to $1.99, and with expected state tax increses to $2.29. They will only be happy when the tax man gets the MAJORITY of the price you pay at the pump.

Congressional assholes are looking for excuses to raise taxes that will sound pallatable to the publc. Some are wanting to call their tax increases “carbon tax” believing that the public will swallow a tax that proports to combat their fictional “global waming” scam. Other Congressional liars want to promise to use a part of their new taxes to do road repairs, thus promising to pay back in conveninece the money they scammed from the public. Only a damn fool would believe that more than a fraction of money given to Washington ever comes back.

The Congress and their Commissions are pumping out fictious “news” stories about how necissary the tax increases are, and their lackeys in the media are dutifully reciting their socialist propaganda. Yahoo news story, is typical of the socialist propaganda being distributed. Notice how Yahoo and other leftist “news” outlets do not include any critiicsm of the tax increases or of the scumbag politicians in their published reports.

What was it the lying corrupt Chicago politican promised us before the last election? Oh yes, “If you make less than $150,000 per year your taxes will not be raised.” Millions of gullible fools believe that old tired lie again and again. He hasn't even officially taken office yet and already his allies in Congress are preparing for massive new tax increases on everyone who has to drive to work. How can the voters be so stupd?

There is a political theory that any government eventually gets so bloated and wasteful that it destroys the economy that feeds it. Such destruction is said to generally take about 200 years. The bloated government can no longer function and eventually collapses as people revolt against its failed economy and failed governemtn. A new government is formed and the cycle starts over. The US Government has existed for over 200 years and shows many signs of becoming so bloated that it can no longer function or be supported by the people. This latest round of socialist crap and oppressive tax increases continues its pell mell ride toward its own destruction.

There are many football games today. This year there are 35 "bowl" games being played, far too many. They dredge up teams you've never heard of and put them into some "bowl" you've never heard of. At least on New Years Day the bowls are the bigger ones and we've heard of the teams playing.

There are severe winter storms across the northern hemisphere caused by a cold cycle of the sun and earth. The leftist eco-freaks are sill whining about the political fraud of "global warming" despite a decade of declining global temperatures. This remains a good time to be buying stocks and real estate. The old wisdom says "buy low and sell high." Today the prices have nosedived. The prices are low. Its a good time to buy low. Next year or the year after prices will be high. Sorry for all of you who bought last year when prices were high and now are selling low. That's not how to get rich with investments.

We are promised a whole list of socialist laws from the Obama era beginning in January. There is a risk of complete economic collapse in the US, rumors of civil war and breakup. Probably won't happen. The average American has no gumption.

In the middle east there are Islamic extremists who are attacking Israel again, and getting pasted again. That's been going on all my life. Moses or Joshua would have just killed them all, taken their cows, and been done with it. Today's Jews don't have the gumption of their ancestors. The war will go on for generation after generation.

European nations are rapidly destroying themselves by unlimited immigration of Islamic and other foreigners combined with an extinction birth rate of their own people. Their governments are too stupid and too apathetic to do anything to save themselves. After half a millennium the Islamics are building new mosques in Spain.

Oil prices have returned to some reasonable level along with prices of many commodities after the collapse of a greatly over inflated speculative world economy. Call it a necessary correction of ridiculous speculative pricing.

The US is getting rid of an incompetent idiot President and replacing him with a foreign born Indonesian citizen. Our constitution is put to ground completely, and our supreme court concurs.

There is some good news, and reason for hope. Many American men are becoming more and more aware of the disaster of our feminist dominated government. When some courageous man plugs an Agent of Satan in black robes of hell, a blue gun thug, or a lying cheating ex-wife, thousands of good men stand up and cheer. Millions of American men have been buying guns and ammunition in huge quantities, preparing for the expected resistance, or perhaps a local uprising.

Major left wing media outlets are going bankrupt because nobody wants their constant leftist crap. The market has a way of cleaning up idiot businesses even if their management is to stupid to get a clue. The Chicago Tribune and LA Times filed Chapter 11. The NY Times had to hock its building and sell its share of the Boston Red Sox to stay afloat. Leftist propaganda that works every day trying to destroy American business ends up destroying the business of publishing. How appropriate.

Many bloated local government are having to cut back on their budgets and the people are refusing to be taxed any more. A few blue gun thugs are being let go. They are talking about closing prisons instead of building new prisons.

American voters have been holding the line on the destruction of marriage in many places despite the best efforts of leftist governments and the combined assault of faggots and feminists. Even in California the people have been telling their faggot/feminist/socialist government to pound sand. And the faggot City of San Francisco is going bankrupt --- ROFLMAO!!

Support Global Warming

It's official. Bob is now strongly supporting Global Warming. The average temperatures across the earth have gone down every years since 1998. This year, 2008, is the coldest year in a decade. Last year we had the 2nd most annual snowfall ever recorded in this area. The previous record was set almost a century ago, and we were within less than 1 inch of the record total. Well, we said, how bad can it be next year. How bad? Its worse. The all time record here for the most snow in 24 hours was 13 inches. On Wednsday into Thursday we had 19 ½ inches of snow, and then it snowed more all day Thursday, and again Thursday night. We selected this location after reviewing weather records which showed that 6 inches of snow was commonly the most extreme weather event of the year. The average daytime temperatures are said to be above freezing so the few inches of snow melts off, or so that has been the experience over the past century.

Are 20th century warm period records for cold and snow applicable going forward into the 21st century? Not last year. Not this year. We have 30 inches in our driveway. Bob shoveled snow all day yesterday, and all day today, and it will take a couple more days of shoveling to get a car out to the county road. Where is the D-6 Cat when you need one.

It not just here. Its been snowing in London in November. Its been snowing in New Orleans. Northern sea ice reached all the way south to Iceland for the first time in living memory, and polar bears came ashore to harass the Icelanders. The Canadian seal hunt fleet got caught and stuck in an ice flow for the first time ever, and even their “ice breaker” ship sent to rescue the seal hunters got iced in. Temperatures are dropping and ice is expanding all across the earth.

Bob is now officially supporting Global Warming. We need a few more degrees. We need more warming. A recent article in the London Daily Mail reported scientific theory that CO2 greenhouse gas has been delaying the onset of a coming natural cold cycle, sometimes called a “little ice age.” We've been experiencing declining global temperatures ever since the mindless left wingnuts started whining about “Global Warming.” They are cutting back on CO2 emissions and perpetuating cold.

“It’s Not Even Winter Yet” -- NUTTERS!

An artic storm is paralyzing much of the United States. From Seattle to Boston, snow and ice have millions of Americans fighting the cold and trying to keep life together. It snowed for two consecutive days in New Orleans and its been flooding in southern California. This morning the talking head idiot “weather” guy on NBC says “It’s not even winter yet.” Do you have to have a total frontal lobotomy to go on TV? Even in New York the weather has been cold, snow, and winter. But the mindless idiots mouth the same old nonsense and pretend that their blather is truth.

Winter solstice has been celebrated as “Midwinter’s Night” for thousands of years. Midwinter was being celebrated at Stonehenge when it was still made of wood.

Winter solstice is the night when the sun is the farthest south, and the morning when the days begin to get longer. Winter solstice or Midwinter’s Night is the “reason for the season” that has been celebrated for thousand and thousands of years, long, long before any of the modern religions.

For Politically Correct reasons the powers that be decided to arbitrarily and erroneously declare that the new “winter” begins on Midwinter’s Night and lasts until the middle of spring, Spring Equinox. Their arbitrary fiction makes as much sense as the legislation that Pi to be exactly 3. It sounds good in the marble halls of the mentally challenged, but has no validity in the real world.

We live in a world where those who pontificate about the weather continually demonstrate that they have no clue what they are talking about. When they make plainly impossible statements like “Its not even winter yet” they demonstrate their own pathetic incompetence to be doing their job. Are we supposed to believe them that their so-called “Global Warming” has any truth when they are unable to look out their window and see ice storms and freezing blizzards across the whole Northern Hemisphere? They may be as demonstrably dumb as a post, but we aren’t. What a bunch of mindless idiots.

We light our candles and other small lights against the darkness as a portend of the return of the light time of year. We decorate our homes and trees. We get together with our friends and give gifts as our ancestors have done at Midwinter’s Night for many thousand s of years.

Polar Ice Expanding

A week ago the desk jockeys who believe Algore's lies about Global Stupidity (warming) were warning that the annual Canadian Seal hunt would have problems because of Global Stupidity was melting the polar sea ice. Read story

So this week, the Canadian seal hunt fleet is actually out hunting seals, and the Ice is so thick that the entire fleet is stuck in the ice and their vessels are being crushed. The Canadian Coast Guard sent its ice breaker ship to free the seal hunt boats, and the ice is so thick that the ice breaker ship is stuck in the ice. No seal hunting is going on. The fleet is in danger of being crushed by polar ice, the thickest polar ice in more than 20 years. Video here

Global Warming?

I just read a USA Today web site about a new and much ballyhooed propaganda piece on so-called "global warming." Here On the USA Today web site the graphic shows that the average temperature in the year 670 was 57.3368. And in fact all the temperatures are show with 6 digits. In the year 640 it was 56.6186 degrees, according to their study. Right away I was suspicious. As a man who majored in physical science in college I know that you have to have extremely accurate data to report six digit accuracy. I would be very surprised if they have any actual data accurate enough to distinguish between 56 degrees and 57 degrees in the year 670, especially since thermometers wouldn't be invented for close to another thousand years. History of thermometers. The chart says that the data is estimated from ice core samples, which give only a very isolated single point approximation. Extrapolating that to a 6 digit statement of global temperature is scientific nonsense.
My second concern is that their graph does not show the "mini ice age" which gripped the earth from the 12th century until the 16th century. The mini ice age eliminated the wine industry in England and eliminated the Viking colony on Greenland, among other world wide effects. In the 1970s, after 4 decades of steadily declining global temperatures, a popular topic was "The coming mini ice age." All the dire projections in the 1970s, based on half a century of declining global temperatures, were that we could expect another 500 years of significant global cooling. The graphic data did not show the 500 year mini ice age, and neither did it show the half century of declining global temperatures in the first half of the 20th century which precipitated the "coming ice age" predictions of the 1970s. There is something amiss in their report, or at least something left out, maybe it leaves out inconvenient truths.
On close inspection of the reported data I find no accounting for global climatic events such as volcanoes. In 1816, for example, there was a "year without summer" and several years of global climatic disruption caused by a volcano named Tambora in SE Asia. A volcanic eruption in 1815 caused widespread famine across Europe, Asia, and parts of America that pushed political changes in several countries as local peasants blamed their governments for the climatic problems. The "year without summer" continued to cause record cooling for several years. Its not shown on the data presented to support the latest hysteria, "global worming." The data also doesn't show the effects of many other global climatic events caused by other volcanoes or meteors which happen every century or so. A skeptical reader such as myself wants to see the data include all the data, not just that which supports their latest conjecture. Bob began to ask himself why they had left out the inconvenient truths that aren't in their published data.
The bottom line in their notes on their temperature chart contains an explanation of their "cooked" data, "This chart uses a combination of scientific estimates, actual meteorological data, and computer simulations." Lets look at what they are saying. Scientific estimates are what we called "WAGs" or "EWAGs" when I was in college, or "Educated Wild Ass Guesses." While an EWAG, or "scientific estimate" may sometimes point a researcher in the right direction, it is never a valid research result or scientific finding. A publication that claims to be based on "scientific estimates" is no better than political garbage. Then they claim to have used some actual meteorological data in their report, and that's nice, but what about their last piece, "computer simulations?"
Bob is also not without some expertise in computer simulations, which should never be confused with facts. A computer simulation is a high tech way for an artist to paint a picture of his biases and previously assumed outcomes. Computer projections take the persons WAGs and extrapolate them to six digits in multiple graphic colors. Any of the input guesses can be changed, and they are only somebody's guesses, and the projections come out to completely different results. When they say that their results are "based on …. computer simulations," they are telling us that they have nothing to report but their wild ass guesses, which are based more on their political positions than on science.
This report and other publicized hysteria about "global warming" are not scientific fact, and in fact are scientific nonsense. For example, they political film "Inconvenient Facts" makes a big deal about Antarctic sea ice being reduced while ignoring the fact that Antarctic land ice has never been thicker. The rest of the "inconvenient facts" have been debunked as well, but you won't learn about it from the hysterics. None of the so-called scientists who play Chicken Little over "global warming" have an explanation for what caused the little ice age of the 12th century, nor why it ended half a millennia latter. If their "scientific estimates, actual meteorological data, and computer simulations" can not explain actual recorded climatic changes, then it provides very little confidence as a predictor of climate.
Finally, Bob is not convinced that global warming would be a disaster even if it happens. Warming is probably a boon where a historic mini-ice-age led to global famine. A study published some years ago by environmentalists at UCLA concluded that global warming would cause more rain in many desert areas and longer growing seasons in many cold regions. For people who freeze through negative temperatures all winter in North Dakota or Moscow, Russia, an increase of 5 or 10 degrees would be welcome, and the "computer models" promise the most warming in these areas.
In conclusion, the hysteria (a well-gendered term) over so-called "global warming" is political double talk without scientific basis. Even if it happens it will be 99% caused by natural variations in solar output and such things as volcanoes. The hysterical media and so-called scientists (they aren't) ought to be told to take their report and cram it where the sun don't shine. The report ignores sunshine anyway so that would be an improvement.
